It was started by a now well known Madam, Victoria. Her initial promise was of a house dedicated to sensuality and pleasure, but became so much more, an icon of the ideal Bordello. Her concept was of a discreet establishment, guaranteeing privacy. "No client should ever meet another", was strictly enforced by all staff and ladies, a defining point for the whole establishment. This was indeed a great beginning no other brothel operated in this way. This level of personal privacy is still in force today.
The word soon got around that something special had been created. A place where pressures were left behind, and the best Ladies of the Industry plied their trade. This unique model, combined with the economic boom of 1986, led to Ladies for Gentlemen increasing from two working rooms to six. All of the classic Victorian period features were painstakingly restored. Ornate ceiling roses and arches, antique marble fireplaces. No expense was spared. The total environment oozed of decadence and exclusivity.
